The RedHawk Ranch here in central MN has been home and hunted by Hradsky¹s for 102 years.  Hunting is more than a tradition it is a way of life and though many things have changed on the ranch in those 102 years with regards to how we manage the land and the game on it, the passion for hunting has never wavered.

My son BeauDrey and my daughter Mikinzie grew up on this ranch and by the time they could walk, both had already been on hunts with me. Though they started at a young age any of us who hunt know that it takes time and maturity sprinkled with a little good luck to harvest a decent mature whitetail deer.  Though both of them had harvested deer on and off since they started hunting, 2006 was a special year for me as a father.  Beau was 17,  Kinzie was 14 and their level of maturity and experience with regards to their hunting savvy was starting to shine.

Beau showed his versatility and knowledge by harvesting a nice buck in both archery and rifle seasons and Kinzie not yet an archer at this time, dropped the hammer on a good buck during rifle season.

Though the pictures reflect what some may think are the trophies of 2006, the real trophies that year was the sense of pride I felt as a father and, the memories we all took away from that season.

Trust me when I say, those are the trophies that never have and never will fade with time.
